Cars & Social hosted their highly anticipated season closer on December 19th, 2024, transforming the event into a Charity Gala in partnership with the US Marines and the NJ Toys for Tots Foundation. The event was a heartfelt celebration that raised funds and collected new, unwrapped toys, with all proceeds benefitting the Toys for Tots initiative. Key to the event's success was the support of Sargent Sardine from the Marine Corps, who worked closely with Cars & Social to ensure the event’s seamless logistical planning.
The gala took place at Jacques Reception Center in Middletown, NJ, where the beautifully adorned ballroom set the tone for an elegant evening. Guests enjoyed an array of delicious food and cocktails while taking in the sight of over 60 exotic cars displayed outside. The event drew approximately 115 attendees, all eager to contribute to the charitable cause.
A highlight of the evening was the contribution of VMS Transportation, based in Matawan, which donated a 1:2 scale F1 car for a raffle. The proceeds from the raffle were directed to the Toys for Tots Foundation, alongside other items and gift cards donated by generous sponsors. Special thanks go to Mangia Pizza, Cuzin’s, HEN, Gabriella’s, Patricia’s of Holmdel, Over Easy Kitchen, Jasper Stone, One Willow, Squire, APEX One, CMC Motorsports, and WOLF Fine Jewelers for their invaluable support.
Class Kills Entertainment kept the energy alive throughout the evening with their dynamic musical performances, featuring an MC and a saxophonist who brought a vibrant ambiance to the gala.
Speeches were delivered by representatives of Cars & Social, the US Marines, the Mayor of Middletown, and other public officials, each emphasizing the importance of community and generosity during the holiday season. Thanks to the overwhelming support of attendees, sponsors, and donors, the event successfully raised over $7,000 for the Toys for Tots Foundation.
Joseph L. Boscia Jr. and Emilio Duran, representing Cars & Social, expressed their heartfelt gratitude to everyone who contributed to making the gala a resounding success. “We’re so grateful for the generosity and enthusiasm shown by our community,” they shared. “We’re already looking forward to welcoming everyone back for an even bigger and better 2025 season!”
